About
Our Chamber Music program is designed to musically engage and challenge our students. Each small ensemble is composed of 2-6 musicians from the same orchestra. Students benefit from the personalized attention of a dedicated coaching staff as well as the opportunity to collaborate closely with other members. Groups work together to prepare repertoire for an end-of-the-year performance and enjoy performance classes, master classes and outside performance opportunities throughout the year.
Chamber Music meets on Sundays.

Summer ChamberFest 2024 Recap
BYSO launched a summer chamber music program open to BYSO and non-BYSO students this past summer! The goal of BYSO Summer ChamberFest is to provide an intensive chamber music experience for intermediate and advanced string and piano students from ages 8-18. Classes took place at BYSO’s new Youth Center for Music in the heart of the Boston music scene.
